Update your dive skills and knowledge with a quick scuba refresher from the SDI Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water. This course reacquaints you with diving so that you get back to feeling comfortable in the underwater world in less than a day.
In this class, we’ll do a concise theory update with you and take you in the pool afterwards to refresh all of the skills of the SDI Open Water Diver course.
Many certified divers ask the question: “Do I need a refresher?” There’s no official rule for when you’ll need a refresher course, but if you ask the question, the answer is likely to be, YES. The need for an update depends largely on how much you remember and how comfortable you are scuba diving. You should also consider your previous experience and the amount of time since your last dive.
Scuba diving nowadays has become a very safe activity, but it is imperative that you keep your skills and knowledge fresh. If you forget major things about the world of scuba diving, it could potentially be dangerous.
