We have planned an amazing trip to Little Cayman. This will be a magical first Scuba Dreams trip to this easily accessible paradise. We will be staying at an awesome beach resort with some of the best diving in the Caribbean! An easy-to-plan, easy-to-execute trip of a lifetime!

WHERE ARE WE GOING?

“You know that remote island wonderland you always see in films and read about in books? It’s here. At only ten miles long and one mile wide, there may be more peace per-square-inch on Little Cayman than anywhere else.”

We are going to Little Cayman for a 7-night adventure, diving in some of the best reefs of the Caribbean. Little Cayman, a former part of the United Kingdom’s overseas territories, is a tiny island in the northern Caribbean, close to Cuba. An island only 10 miles long and 1 mile wide.

WHY Little Cayman?

Little Cayman Beach resort, with the Reef Divers dive operation, has been a staple of the Caribbean scuba diving for a long time, and we finally found the best time to visit!

THE DIVING

Little Cayman is famous for its Wall diving, especially Bloody Bay Wall. With sheer underwater cliffs that plummet to unseen depths, generations of ocean divers have made Little Cayman Island Resort a leading Caribbean diving destination. On it’s healthy reefs you’ll enjoy little to no current, unlimited visibility, jaw dropping swim throughs and plentiful marine life. Whether you go deep or stay shallow, diving Little Cayman Island is a bucket list experience.

The on-site dive shop, Reef Divers, is renowned for offering personalized valet diving, but what does that mean? Essentially, Reef Divers takes all the hard work out of scuba diving, from the heavy lifting and care of your boat gear to switching out tanks and safely storing your gear at the end of the day.

Around Little Cayman, there are countless dive sites, quickly accessible from the resort with one of the amazing custom dive boats that Reef Divers run on a daily basis. Ocean encounters include turtles, reef/nurse sharks, groupers, and a lot of small things.

THE HOTEL

Little Cayman Beach Resort is situated on a white, sandy beach in Blossom Village, the first area of the island resettled in 1833 after Spanish privateers ran off the turtle fishermen who’d settled there. The two-story hotel structure has 40 air-conditioned guest rooms.

Guests will enjoy their meals served in the Birds of Paradise dining room with ample seating, ideally for groups – and individuals – all at the same time. A community table makes it easy for individuals or couples traveling alone to meet new friends. For al fresco dining, a new screened outdoor pavilion is also available. Our package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DATES AND FLIGHTS

The trip will take place from January 9th to 16th, 2027.

There will be direct flights with Delta from Atlanta to Grand Cayman. From Grand Cayman, we’ll have to take a “puddle-jumper” over to Little Cayman. All transfers from Little Cayman’s airport to the hotel are included in the travel price.

Flight plans for 2027 aren’t out yet. The economy ticket price for the flight from ATL Grand Cayman on Delta Airlines in the winter of 2026 is about $750 return. The flight from Grand Cayman to Little Cayman is usually about $200 return.
